These Terms of Use apply to chicagocarkeys.com and to automotive locksmith services requested from Chicago Car Keys. By using this website or requesting service, you agree to these terms.
We provide mobile automotive locksmith services in Chicago and surrounding service areas. Service availability, arrival estimates, and completion times depend on technician availability, traffic, weather, vehicle condition, key or part availability, and the information provided by the customer.
You must be the vehicle owner or have lawful authority from the owner to request service. We may require government-issued identification, registration, title, insurance information, a VIN, or other proof of ownership or authorization before beginning work. We may refuse or stop service if ownership or authorization cannot be reasonably verified.
You agree to provide accurate contact, location, vehicle, and service information; make the vehicle safely accessible; disclose known damage or prior repairs that may affect the work; and use our services only for lawful purposes.
Phone or online estimates may be based on the information available before inspection. Final pricing may change after the technician inspects the vehicle or identifies differences in the vehicle, key system, parts, labor, or service conditions. We will explain material changes before additional work is performed. Payment is due when service is completed unless another arrangement is agreed to in writing.
Arrival times are estimates rather than guarantees. Please notify us promptly if your location, vehicle access, or service need changes. A cancellation or trip charge may apply when a technician has been dispatched, arrives, or cannot perform the work because required access or authorization is unavailable; any applicable charge should be disclosed for the service request.
Any written warranty or guarantee provided for a particular service or product is subject to its stated conditions and exclusions. Contact us promptly if you believe completed work has a problem so we can review the situation. Damage caused by misuse, later work by others, pre-existing vehicle conditions, or unrelated mechanical or electrical failures may not be covered.
You may use this website to learn about our services and contact us. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit false or unlawful requests, or copy site content for commercial use without permission.
We try to keep website information accurate, but content may not describe every vehicle, condition, or service limitation. To the extent permitted by law, Chicago Car Keys is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use.
