Founder of Chicago Car Keys, Illinois-licensed locksmith, and Chicago automotive-key specialist serving drivers, families, and businesses throughout Chicago and nearby Cook County suburbs.
Jose M. Hernandez Jr. was born and raised in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. He built Chicago Car Keys around a straightforward idea: bring professional automotive locksmith service directly to the customer’s vehicle, explain the available options clearly, and verify that every completed key works before leaving.
Chicago Car Keys was established in 2006. Jose works as both the founder and an active automotive locksmith, bringing practical, vehicle-specific experience to lost-key, spare-key, smart-key, transponder, lockout, and supported ignition-service calls.
Jose also founded Omega Locksmith, our affiliated Chicago business serving homeowners and businesses with residential and commercial locksmith services.
His work is focused exclusively on automotive locksmith service. Customers can request mobile help at home, at work, roadside, in a parking lot, or at a commercial fleet location, subject to vehicle, procedure, parts, location, and technician availability.
